So excited that two of my images were shortlisted for the 2023 Pink Lady Food Photography Awards. This is an international competition featuring the world’s best food photographers. Time to celebrate with some burgers, beers, and of course, can’t forget that chocolate cake!

It’s crazy how expensive food is these days (Oof, I feel old saying that!) But, if we are going to pay obscene prices for everyday items (I’m looking at you, eggs!) we may as well treat our groceries as luxury goods. So, bust out the fancy bowls, and give your food the star treatment, because everyday foods can be seen as luxury goods.

We started out with wanting to create some Festivus fun. Things quickly devolved once we realized we had a Festivus pole. I’m still giggling about that naughty elf!
